Comment
en In the house of José Lopez and Lita. A song formerly performed during the ritual at the Ipua spring in September. All night long. The ritual has not been performed since 1975. The homophone and mixed choir is accompanied by the tihak drum, a single-headed drum, beaten by Paulino Ximenes, from the spring guardian clan (Hnelak). In Makili, only one singer still knows this song, reserved for the spring guardian clans, the Hnelak and Mau Tuda clans. hleri opun means master of the song
tara lété means ensemble (choir)
